Precision and reliability for your laboratory and analysis technology
Kendrion offers a comprehensive portfolio of customised and ready-to-use components and systems for laboratory and analytical technology. Our solutions are based on state-of-the-art solenoid technology and pneumatic and fluid technology and are used in a wide range of laboratory devices and systems.
We supply fluidic solutions for the precise control of liquids and gases in demanding applications such as ultrapure water treatment, gas chromatography and TOC analysis. In addition, we develop reliable interlock solutions that are specially tailored to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, laboratory hoods and washing machines. For optical applications, we offer shutter solutions that ensure the highest precision in microscopes, for example.
Fluid Isolation Valve for ultrapure water treatement
The fluid-isolation valves from Kendrion is ideally suited for use in ultrapure water applications due to the strict separation of the medium from the valve drive. Specially approved materials are used to ensure the highest microbial purity.
Advantages
Large nominal diameter of 3.5 mm
Flow-optimized internal geometry
Low dead space
Solenoid valve for gas chromatography
Gas chromatography is an analytical method in which a gaseous sample mixture is separated into individual chemical compounds to analyse its composition. Solenoid valves from Kendrion are used to inject the sample, meeting the high standards of cleanliness, sealing and reliability.
Advantages
- Compact size
- Low dead space volume
- High accuracy and reliability.
Optical Shutter for electron microscope
Electron microscopes are used to obtain high resolution images of relevant specimens. Kendrion optical shutter are responsible to switch the electrons beam which is the source of illumination.
Advantages
- Low energy consumption due to bistable design
- Compact size
- Fast switching time
Solenoid Lock for centrifuges
With a very high holding force of at least 1,600 N and a shock resistance of up to 100 g, Kendrion offers a solenoid lock that takes security very seriously and is therefore ideally suited for locking laboratory centrifuges. An integrated solenoid enables easy control and combines quick unlocking with a pleasant acoustic signal.
Advantages
- High maximum static holding force of at least 1,600 N
- Long service life
- Emergency release and monitoring of the closed position
Oxygen solenoid valves with fine filter in TOC analyzers
TOC analyzers are used to determine the content of total organic carbon (TOC) in liquid and solid samples. Kendrion oxygen valves are responsible for the precise dosing of the oxygen required for the analysis in TOC instruments.
Advantages
- Grease-free for analytical applications
- Fine filter to eliminate chips and particles
- Extremely durable and failsafe
Oscillating solenoid for particle analysis
Analytical sieve shakers are used for separation, fractioning, and particle size determination. Our controllable electromagnetic drive makes sure that the sieve can be adapted to any bulk material. By producing a 3D throwing motion, the product to be sieved moves equally over the whole sieving surface. It effects that the size of the particles will separate the mesh. Sharp fractions are obtainable even after very short sieving times.
Advantages
- High performance with a compact design
- Ideally minimized eddy current losses
- Universal installation options
