Optimize your conveyor systems
Electromagnetic brakes and sorting switches
In order to cope with the rapidly increasing international movement of goods, a future-proof intralogistics system is needed that can be used to transport goods efficiently and quickly. Our customers are leading manufacturers of such logistics solutions and have many years of expertise in the field of transport technology.
KENDRION develops and produces electromagnetic sorting switches, for example for overhead conveyor systems or modern shoe sorter systems with which the transport direction of the goods is controlled quickly and reliably by setting the appropriate switches.
In addition, KENDRION also offers electromagnetic brakes which are installed in the electric motors of the conveyor belts and bring the conveyor belts to a safe stop in an emergency. KENDRION also develops customer-specific solutions, e.g. for spindle motors or roller conveyors where the brake is integrated into the rollers. These solutions are used in areas such as handling technology, the electrical industry, packaging machines and assembly automation.
Electromagnetic brakes for geared motors
Flexible brake solutions for every requirement
Geared motors are a combination of a motor and a gearbox and are the most commonly used drives in industry. They are essential for the smooth running of manufacturing and logistics processes, as well as in mechanical engineering.
Electromagnetic brakes are used to hold loads securely in position when the motor is switched off. Motors are typically configured for either a dynamic or a holding application.
Electromagnetic divert switch for shoe sorter
Fast switching and precise sorting
Our ready-to-install divert switch provides is a fast and reliable solution for sliding shoe sorters. The bistable rotary solenoid PDM050 has a strong bistable behavior and high holding force, making it ideal for precise and fast diverting of items on the conveyor belt.
The electromagnetic divert switch can be used in shoe sorters, parcel and postal sorting applications or overhead conveyors.
