Universally applicable holding magnets

Kendrion offers powerful solutions for every need.

KENDRION is a manufacturer of industrial electro holding magnets and offers the largest portfolio on the market. Electromagnetic holding magnets are used in many different areas, for example, in the fields of automation, transport, and handling. Depending on requirements, the electromagnets are available in round, flat or rectangular designs. The holding forces range from 36 - 30,000 N. For applications in toolmaking and mechanical engineering, where no air gap settings are required, our holding force-optimized versions are used, which offer a significant holding force advantage for the same size.

The magnets consist of a magnet housing and a DC-excited coil. The magnetic circuit which is open in the switched-on state allows for holding ferromagnetic workpieces. If the supply voltage is switched off, the workpiece to be held falls off. These holding systems always work with very low operating current and are maintenance-free.
