High-performance solenoid locks: Security and efficiency even for small installation spaces
Kendrion's proven solenoid locks offer a variety of advantages that make them an ideal solution for the Parcel+Post industry. With an enormous holding force of up to 1600 N and a lifespan of up to 100,000 switching cycles, they guarantee a stable lock even under extreme conditions. Thanks to their small size and high locking forces, the solenoid locks are ideal for applications where high loads and maximum security are required – ideal for small spaces such as in post boxes, lockers or vending machines. When it comes to developing locking solutions for the logistics industry, Kendrion focuses on cost-effectiveness and durability.
A special highlight at the Kendrion stand will be the revised postbox demonstrator, which already attracted a great deal of interest last year. New this year is the operation via a modern Vico 10-inch touch display, which comes from Kendrion's own control technology. The demonstrator, which realistically illustrates the application of magnetic locks in postboxes, offers trade fair visitors an interactive opportunity to test three different locks directly. These locks are all optimized for use in post boxes and lockers, but offer different advantages: from outstanding cost efficiency to particularly high locking force and lightning-fast switching times. This allows visitors to experience live which solution best suits their individual requirements.
Material handling solutions for tomorrow's logistics
In addition to locking solutions, Kendrion also presents solutions for material handling and conveyor technology. These include the rotary solenoids of the PDM series, which are optimized for use in shoe sorters. The PDM rotary solenoids are characterised by fast switching times of only approx. 25 milliseconds and an impressive lifespan of 100 million switching cycles. With a strong holding torque and the ability to work reliably in logistics systems, the PDM rotary solenoids are the heart of modern sorting switches.
The bistable rotary solenoids BSM043 with a 90° angle of rotation and an aluminium finger are the optimal solution for automated storage systems. The shuttle finger enables safe storage and retrieval as well as the transport of goods in shuttle systems or AGVs, ensuring precise and reliable handling.
Kendrion's electromagnetic stoppers and separators provide a clean, quiet and energy-efficient solution for precisely stopping, separating, positioning and holding workpiece carriers on assembly lines. Compared to conventional pneumatic systems, the electromagnetic stoppers impress with their high efficiency, reduced maintenance costs and their ability to work smoothly and almost silently – ideal for applications where precision and sustainability are important.
