Panel PLC with a 7" touch display and modular EtherCAT® I/O
The aim of the starter kit is to make you familiar with the programming system CODESYS V3 and the hardware of KENDRION. In a few steps you will learn how to programme KENDRION automation devices according to the international standard IEC 61131-3 and to create a comfortable CODESYS visualisation.
The PLC with 7" display used here, Scout, is an embedded PC with CODESYS V3 PLC and integrated 7" touch screen for CODESYS Target visualisation. The Panel PLC supports CANopen® as well as EtherCAT®-Master. Both fieldbus systems can be easily configured in CODESYS.
By connecting with the EtherCAT® I/O system, FIO by KENDRION, with “easy to clip-on” digital as well as analogue I/O, function and gateway modules, the the intelligent display can be expanded to a complete, customised and decentralised distributed control and operating solution.
