World of Technology and Science (WOTS) is the largest industrial trade fair in the Benelux that unites companies from the sectors of measurement, control, electrical engineering and technology. Kendrion 3T, a development partner for customer-specific electronics and embedded systems, will present their latest innovations in Utrecht.

With the Slim PM, we have launched a compact permanent magnet brake for servo motors with low to medium torques. The new series is designed for applications in automation, medical technology, and robotics. For OEMs, it is not just the brake itself that matters, but its place in the system: Our Slim PM and High Torque Line use the same mechanical and electrical interface. This allows different torque ranges to be covered with a consistent brake technology without having to redesign the motor. The customer pays only for the exact torque actually required in the respective application.

Inductive heating is rapidly gaining importance in food processing and food-related packaging systems. The technology enables reproducible temperatures and short response times while meeting high hygiene standards. We consistently apply this proven principle to food and packaging machinery: with scalable systems for inductive heating and industrial surface heating. They generate heat exactly where it is needed: during transport, in the heating plate, in the container, or in the roller. Energy consumption is up to 50 percent lower than with gas or oil heaters.

Increasing demands on process stability, energy efficiency, and noise reduction require a new approach to the design of conveyor and transfer systems. We have the optimal solution for this challenge with our electromagnetic stoppers. The stoppers enable fast, highly accurate, and low-noise implementation of central stopping and positioning functions. Since no compressed air infrastructure is required, operating and energy costs are also low.

The industrial truck industry is characterized by high safety and performance requirements. With increasing electrification, electric drive systems and their safety components are becoming more important. Our compact spring-applied brakes make a significant contribution to the operational safety of industrial trucks and impress with their stable braking torque over their service life, robust design for industrial applications, and high mechanical load capacity during emergency stops.
